Each year Volkswagen host an award ceremony granting achievement awards to key staff members across their various operations. The awards culminate with the presentation of Outstanding Contribution Awards.
In December 2010, one such award was presented to the management and staff of Cube in recognition of their continuous and outstanding efforts throughout the year.
Particular references were made to the dedication and commitment shown by staff during a major site refurbishment, which together with meticulous organisation and project planning skills ensured that large scale staff relocations were carried out with no interruption to service
Also noted were the efforts of site staff during the recent period of extreme winter weather, where despite the heavy snow and icy conditions, staff performed "above and beyond" to maintain a safe and efficient operating environment across the site.
